UNDERRATED (Ghostbusters The Video Game)

Welcome to UNDERRATED! This series focuses on playing through underrated games WITHOUT annoying/unnecessary commentary attached to it! Now picking a game to be in the first season was a tough choice so I went through all my games and came across one of the most underrated games released EVER! Ghostbusters is by far one of my all time favorite movies ever and after playing the game I felt like this was one of those games that must be experienced by others! These future videos of UNDERRATED will contain spoilers and such so be warned and if you like what you see go pick up a copy at your local Gamestop!

@ronvnkl232 Dude, the game's gimmick had 15 controllable enemies and 3 moves for each of them. This is for a game on the PS2. How is that lazy? Tekken is a 2.5D figthing game. Crash Mind Over Mutant is basically a smaller TwinSanity with a lot more moves and the ability to control enemies. It's an evolution of a platformer, going to the next step in complexity. Like a single cell becoming multi-celled. An FPS with some melee is a completely different deal from a fighting game.

@vgman94 because the game focused on lazy gimmicks instead of what it should the level design instead of focusing on the level design it was all about the repetitive beat'm up dont get me wrong i love beat em ups but if they arent well made they suck also if tekken would become a first person shooter with some melee attacks would that seems normal to you?

@ronvnkl232 Please tell me why it 'should be" a platformer? Why can't it change genres after a while? And platforming is in the games, especially Mind Over Mutant, without being mostly that. A beat 'em up is not bad. The co-op, combat and platforming served to give it more variety than previous games. Why is that so wrong?

@vgman94 the idea of the titans/mutans was great but the game didnt felt like crash it became a sidescroller beat'm up while it should be a platformer

@ronvnkl232 Adding combat and the unique gameplay mechanic to control large and powerful enemies does NOT make it suck. Think outside the box for once. Repeating the same game over and over is much worse than innovating it.

You want to see an underrated game? Try the recent games of old platforming mascots. Games like Crash of the Titans, Crash Mind Over Mutant (Crash Bandicoot), The Legend of Spyro and the games of Sonic the Hedgehog from Heroes to Black Knight sans 06' were very underrated. Many of these games have gotten crapped on by "fans", despite being high quality and innovative. But this Ghostbusters game looks pretty cool.
