This stuff saved my son. Yes, it seems too good to be true, doesn't it? Do your research and try Truehope at http://www.truehope.com before you commit to a lifetime of pharmaceuticals that don't really work, and that have horrible side effects. Don't set up your child for kidney failure, weight gain, osteoporosis, liver damage, and tardive dyskinesia. Those drugs are RISKY, don't ever forget that. Truehope is harmless and it WORKS. Someday it will be the way bipolar is treated. Don't let your child's life be ruined waiting for the FDA to finally figure this out. I didn't wait, and I am so glad.

  • The more I watch stuff like this, the more sour I become. I live ith Bipolar (Type 1). Not the Bipolar diagnosis that gets thrown around, the REAL one. Been in hospital a few times.. Why? Because I stopped taking my meds. Not my fish oil and other supplements, my meds. I believe in supplementation as a support but NOT as managment. These illnessess are not just deficiencies. There are many things involved. Lithium works great for me. No problem at all.

  • @Coldndedwithin I am sure that if you suddenly stopped your meds, you got very sick indeed. It's common knowledge (the the Truehope staff are adamant about this) that once a person has been on p-drugs, that they cannot just stop...their brains have adjusted to the drug. you dont go back to how you were before. your withdrawal symptoms prove nothing. young people who haven't been on them very long are not the same as adults who are long term p-drug users

  • Is the only place to buy this on TH's website??

  • @hollybee43 as far as i know yes

  • Actually Polybum, mental disorders (not disabilities) seem to be just nutrient deficiency disorders according to alot of research literature. You may want to look into it. Seems like you could use some help yourself.

  • they seem more schizophrenic than bipolar.

  • @Coldndedwithin check my other response...

  • Tapering the drug slowly perhaps may work? I am also type 1 bipolar, been hospitalized twice with severe delusions. I am an RN too. In my oppinion most psychs dont know enough about the disease nor the treatments, all they know is that it works. Lithium was fund by chance, as was sodium valproate. Its shaddow stabbing, so Im trying to manage my illness on my own. One things for sure, ur brain needs months and months to restructure itself after p-drugs tapering slowly. (im still on them)

  • @openupfresh it can take months, depending on how long you have been ill. it worked on my 17-year old son in a matter of days

  • This is a fantastic story an I truly believe that it was an answer to their prayers. Anyone else in this situation would have tried all they could do as well, just a's this family did. If what they tried worked and if it works for so many others, what right do you people who HAVEN'T tried it have to disbelieve? I know of someone who could use this product and I'm willing to actually TRY and find out if it works. Maybe those who wrote disrespectful and rude comments should do the same before the

  • i still think bipolar disorder is an accumulation of unresolved traumas. My grandma has bipolar disorder as well and her symptoms of rage, paranoia, delusions, depressive spells, super rationalizing, etc etc. I THINK are due to her unresolved traumas in her life (Her mother committed suicide and she was the byproduct of a man that had concubines (her mother being one of them). --> and the story goes on but i don't want to go into detail.
