Chris Pennie
of Coheed and Cambria

Recorded @ Gallucci's Music in Scranton, PA on March 30th, 2010

Chris treated the crowd at Gallucci's Music to an hour long clinic and performance. He's a very smart musician and he talked about some really interesting things. He also played a few songs from his side project "Return to Earth" and of course, his signature open ended Drum Solo... Enjoy

  • he's the same dude, just with 4 more years of playing under his belt... Coheed is the shit, listen to his playing on the new album, he shines

  • @OkeyProductions

taylor hawkins recorded the drums on that album. so taylor hawkins shines.

  • @disgustopated I'm not a huge fan of Taylor's playing on NWFT but I love his work with the Foo Fighters... NWFT was definitely a guitar driven album, the fact that Hawkins was'nt actually in the band is apparent in the mix... Chris' skills really shine on new tracks like "Here we are Juggernaut" & "Guns of Summer"

  • Personally, I feel Chris Pennie is a really intelligent musician regardless of context. It's only natural for someone to sound and essentially be more in their element from where they came from, but damn if they can't grow and learn and so forth. YA KNOW!
