Pain is good garlic style by Original Juan Specialty Foods Inc. ( http://OriginalJuan.com ) I've noticed it in the local stores and never got around to buying any. I didn't realize what I was missing. So what's up with the guy's face writhing in agony? Is this sauce worthy?

First off lets talk about flavor. When you first open the bottle, instant habanero and garlic smell. When you taste it, you get a seriously heavy garlic flavor (which I Love) and the fruity flavor of the habs comes shinning through. After a couple minutes you start to taste all the other ingredients and start to realize that this is one tasty sauce. This sauce is absolutely delicious and I instantly used it to bring a burger to life.

Ingredients: Habanero peppers, water, carrots, garlic, mustard (vinegar, water, mustard seed, salt, spices), vinegar, onion powder, olive oil, lemon juice concentrate, lime juice concentrate, salt.

Now, lets discuss the heat. No chili extract but don't let it fool you. This sauce packs some heat. I was pleasantly surprised. Had allot of sauces that use habs but this one REALLY packs em in there. The heat kinda caught me off guard as it was instant and built for about 2min. It was kinda similar to how it feels to eat a hab, just a little less intense. About 10min after I was feeling kinda mellow and extremely satisfied. I will definitely have to buy some more.

Thanks for watching and have a great day.

  • damn man you take a big spoon haha

i like it but i died the next day. though it tastes like everything else but garlic and i eat lots of raw garlic. maybe i like it more on pizza or something.

  • @SonicFreqCtrl Yea, on the hotter sauces it seems to grow exponentially. LOL I've found that this sauce goes GREAT with tomato base sauces. I'm a bit of a garlic head myself & I found this sauce has a fairly descent garlic flavor but doesn't substitute for the garlic flavor I like, but strong on habanero flavor. I've tried it on pizza & it was delicious. Works great with spaghetti as well. Thanks for watching & commenting.

  • like the videos....good stuff

  • @EasyRecipesHQ Thanks, I appreciate that

  • I just love that sauce. The Jamaican Jerk one is great too, probably the best hot sauces on the market today imho.

  • @Ezkimo998 Not long after this review, I did the PiG Jamaican review....WOW, I love that stuff. I'm torn between the two as to which I like more. The Jamaican makes for some amazing chicken wings.

  • @1Bonehed haha awesome, sure i'm gonna try it on some pasta things, pizza or tomato-based. when i bought it, i optically found the many pieces of garlic pretty good but the taste is really, really deep, smoky, then really hot. or i've expected more salt.

need the right moment cause i can't experiment so much with hot sauces cause i mostly regret it the next day haha! keep it up

  • @infidl Yea, PiG Garlic is the hottest of the PiG sauces. I've went through a few bottles & I've noticed that one particular bottle was "SIGNIFICANTLY" hotter than the others. I guess they had a really hot batch of chiles or something.

  • This is my all-time PiG sauce. I always liked it because it had some decent heat but a great flavor that wasn't completely overpowered by the heat.

    But....

For the first time in many years, I bought a bottle of this in my local co-op. I took at home and applied it generously to the food 'o the evening ... and BAM - huge heat! Hiccups! Wow, *something* has changed. I'm used to the ultra-hot stuff (Da Bomb, Endorphin, etc) and this seemed like it was way up there. Time for another bottle!

  • @Poopstickusa My pleasure, it really is a fantastic sauce. Great flavor, really nice burn. Thanks for watching & commenting.

  • @Twisted4000 As far as a good "Garlic" sauce goes, by that I mean, a sauce that has tons of garlic flavor, but basically NO capsaicin (heat), I would recommend "Garlic Power" sauce. It's useful to cook with & will taste like garlic galore.
