Hey you remember when the gilmours were yellow? that was back in the 1980s till 2003.

Hey man, Ace Hardware usually carries them. But recently Lowe's has been carrying them. Hey another brand I've been trying to collect was Safe-t-lawn. You may or may not remember them but they are a very old company the resided in south Florida. They used to make the Ball drive rotors but since the early or mid 1980s the company went out of busniess. I've been trying to find them on ebay but they are going to be pretty pricey.

It's a damn shame gilmour sprinklers aren't yellow anymore. Yellow was a better color than blue.

Yeah I like impact sprinklers too. I used to like the sound. Me and my brothers used to have sprinkler fights allot with those. I like imapct sprinklers better than Gear drive. I love watching them and playing with them infact, I have a huge collection of different types of impact sprinklers.

Yea, I remember the sprinklers too. I had a great fascination and I still do actually. I just love watching impact sprinklers, just like that Gilmour model. They're very cool and relaxing. My first sprinkler was one of those plastic Nelson impact ones.

Cool. Safe-t-lawn is one I've never heard of, but sounds interesting. And yes, I did see a yellow Gilmour. It was sitting on the porch of the barn where the nature company I visited kept the kayaks. It looked neat. I felt compelled to ask them if they needed it or if I could hook it up to a hose and try it out, but I didn't.

Yes, I do. I have several Orbit impacts, two Nelsons, three Vigoros, and five Gilmours. The Gilmours include 2 impacts, plastic and metal, and three oscillating arms. Not a very big collection, but I'm working on it. I also like auto rotors, like the Hunter PGP. All are very relaxing. I agree that Gilmours look better in yellow. Do you know a place where I can buy more Gilmours? Home Depot just sells Vigoro and Ace Hardware just sells a generic type. PLEASE REPLY
