kk so we went to this show on oct. 24th. srry it took so long for me to get this video up here guys! i had absolutly NO inspration for this video. none. haha well at least i got it done!

so this show went pretty well, i think. it wass our first jumper show together, and we rode in 5 classes :]
two 2'6 classes and three 2'9 classes. i really cant remember what happened in each of the 2'6 classes (since i entered so many) but i remember my 2'9s pretty well. . . . . . . . . . . .
1st 2'9 class: aweful. pulled a rail and had a run out. i wasn't focased at all. we got an 8th.
2nd 2'9 class: decent. it was an optimum time type class. i watched a rider before me go to see her time and how fast she rode, and then compare that to puzzle to see how fast i'd have to go. well, that rider was was fast and under minimum time, and her horse wasnt as fast as puzzle, so i made a point to trot half my course :] we had 13 time penalties, but i planned on it. after our 1st 2'9 class, i wanted to take this one really slow and just work on having a good ride. we came in 4th :]
3rd 2'9 class: awesome. wayy more focased and puzzle was dead on with everything. but our jump off sucked. haha oh well. we came in 3rd.

and we got two 6ths in our 2'6 classes.

overall i was really pleased with our progress. two months ago i could ahve never have considered coming to a jumper show. puzzle's rushing has gotten TONS better. our warm up was fantastic. christina was at this show and i was like "christina, watch how puzzle won't rush any more!!" so a put my hands on the buckle of the reins and trotted to a 2'9 vertical (in the warm up) and puzzie idnt brake into a canter orrr ANYTHING!! she just kept a smooth rythem and cantered out of the fence. i couldnt believe it. i love my ponay.

  • you should rely get your toes in and your leg WAY back. You have a chair seat. but other than tht pretty good for your first jumper show!

  • I think I've seen you at some mini trials?

I remember dressage scribing at a SouthFarm event last year and the judge said "That horse has an 'H' for (her last name started with an H can't remember it though)" It was funny.
