lovely work, I have one question though, what did you use to get the texture of the vortex? I believe in the original they used polythene bag strips behind filters to get the look or something like that, but how did you manage to recreate it?

@dwho1994 Thanks. Have a look here "//seriss.com/people/erco/2001/." Used his technique to get the pattern from the original title sequence. There's some other random patterns used as well.

I keep replying to things out of order. I've replied to your last post first. Oh dear, I'm tired. Anyway Lightwave 3D for the slit scan effect, the TARDIS, and the logo. And After Effects for the compositing. Oh and Paintshop pro for manipulating the still images.
