Saw the Byrds there. The opening band was Brewer & Shipley. Unknown to anyone that Byrds show would wind up being their unceremoniously last performance. Rodger McGuinn, Clarence White, Skip Batten & Gene Parsons, you were the best performing group I have ever seen and took the Byrds music to a level way beyond anything before or since. An intense level of talent.

Saw Todd, Cheap Trick, BOC, The Tubes there. Miss it mucho!!!

Seen some shows there late 70s early 80s. Heart, ZZ top, some others, great room, no bad seats. Remember when you could get tickets for a concert for less than 10 bucks?

Kiss-Nugent-Frampton ZZ TOP-THE WHO-Mountain- Kinks-.... miss it too

I can't believe it. The bumper sticker that reads WE SAW YOU AT THE CAPITOL THEATER was my creation. What an honor to have my artwork immortalized on You Tube. Long live the Capitol Theater. ~ Tom Mazza Printing.

sad to see it go .was big part of my life a lot of great bands there.

Yes, there's a strip mall there, including an R&S Auto Parts. It's called Capitol Plaza. I have such memories attached to the Capitol. I went to my first concert there in 1973, and have seen dozens of shows there after that
