John Carter is a horrible movie with more holes than swiss cheese and acting that belongs in an episode of Day of Our Lives.

He was being "overly dramatic" with his comment. He doesn't know being obstinate, like many other Star trek tos fans, will have him miss out on a great new Star trek movie. BTW Cumberbatch makes an awesome Khan.

No, hes saying all that about the new movie, at the end he realizes this is the "fan favorite", as opposed to the new poorly written, obvious remake of this film. He said "fan favorite" meaning that a majority of Star Trek fans love this movie.

Good Lord. After watching this it becomes incredibly easy to link the plots of this film with Abram's Star Trek. The usage of "darkness" and "vengeance" in both trailers gives it away

the current movie is 20mins longer. but I hear what your saying, many scenes in the new film are dead air. like the scenes with Spock and Uhura are weak, why the bitch gotta be trying to change a vulcan for logics sake. its typical female logic to complain about a dudes life and character when she knew what the deal was gonna be- NO EMOTIONAL CRAP. hopefully in the third film her roll and interaction with spock is limited like it was in the old movies.
