Clearly, asking Laddie to do anything that he doesn't want to do is very unreasonable, and he must therefore either show me how wonderful his backend is, or follow that up with an attempt to floor me. It is also incredibly exciting to jump a cross pole, because we are in a WIDE OPEN SPACE. It is unreasonable as well to Laddie for me to ask him to collect up slightly, and must show his dislike by bucking. Then trying to floor me. Unfortunately, this must be met by me swearing and Laddie pretending to be surprised that I am not a happy bunny.

No he's not in pain. He is just demonstrating his mentality of a four year old, because yes ladies and gentlemen - a cross pole is really THAT exciting. I put the two quick clips in at the end to show how he can do it, he just chooses to throw all his toys out the pram first.
Silly pony.

Oh I'm taking him jumping at Saddlecombe next weekend, eeerrm yeaahhh. SPRING IS HEYUR. I RODE ON GRASS.
But it'll probably rain now, so goodbye field for another year.
Peace. From Alex & Resident OHMYGODITSAJUMP.

  • Haha well ridden. Your description made me laugh aha. 4 year olds ehh - they like to keep us on their toes, I rode in one of our fields for the first time since the summer, and apparently that is uncontrollably exciting aha.

  • haha thing is he's like nine, he just has the mentality of a child :L
