My namesake song has been done by everyone from Bob Wills to Bob Dylan, and my dad named me for Ray Peterson's version--but the version I like best is this one by Brooks & Dunn.

  • This song was originally recorded by an artist named Ray Peterson in 1960. Great song!!

  • Does anyone know which artist or band is that sang this song in the late 60's or 70's? The song was a faster tempo like this one, and was played a lot on the rock stations. Thanks if you know!
