Tasawwuf is the science of purifying oneself. It is a command of Allah and His last Messenger (PBUH) that every person must seek purification. A major responsibility of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is to purify people. The source of Tasawwuf is Qur’an and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

Tasawwuf is the core of Islam and a traditional practice starting from the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He is the original teacher (Murshid) and those who became Muslim in His hands (the Sahaba Ekram RA) were His disciples.
