@MountainQueen It's referred to as the uncanny valley. Look it up. As a rule of thumb, most people in second life choose, based on a false understanding of quality, to have the most realistic skins imaginable. This creates a zombie like appearance. But, you can really look like anything you want, be it Optimus Prime, a tiny bug, or a giant werewolf. Generally speaking, the real problem is the body mesh itself, which is extremely low polygon. They are already implementing a way to replace it.

yeah only in damage areas where you see a little heart and a health % at the top of you screen
you only get tped to your home location and have to tp back
this video was more about an homage to 'the bridge' and that online life can be depressing for many

your home location is set as an info point by default unless you change it to your prefered location manually
