i dont think i want to know how many html editors are made for linux, but heres a search from the arch repos (which are fairly small in my opinion) and no i havent looked through them:
There are ways to get by without a mouse? oh yes, like in windows excessive rape of the alt and tab buttons will get you by without a mouse. can you find me the shortcut to batch process a bunch of wav files into say, flac? all located in random directories around your harddisk
Also, try ubuntu gutsy. i just set that up for a friend. by set up i mean i popped the cd in, installed, checked the box next to the nvidia driver, and then changed the skin on compiz fusion so itd look cooler.
And yes, i did set up my linux using commandline. how many @#@(ing times do i need to go over this with you. I chose this distribution because i LIKE using the commandline. Most people may prefer ubuntu, as its more nebie friendly than virtually anything else.
You still do not seem to realize what repos are...
Its sad, but i guess ill explain how difficult it is to set up a program on a linux box.
Okay first, you need to click your package manager ICON. Then you check the box next to the software you want installed, and then (hold on, here comes the hard part). you need to click "install" and then itll install itself. also, these packages come in 1 file each. In my distro its .tgz files, in ubuntu and debian its .deb, and in many others its .rpm
