r u kidding me high school musical dosn't even deserve to be called a musical let alone should it be even considered on broadway and so theres no way in hell that it could ever replace something as truly amazing as RENT i refuse to accept it High school musical is a piece of shit and the so called "actors" that were in it couldn't sing at all plus hsm was mainly a hit in the 5-12 yr old crowd who aren't old enough to know better

@ImHyper11 I wouldn't go THAT far. But HSM is nothing compared to Rent. HSM is a good musical, for kids to get them into theatre. I've done HSM at my regional theatre for YEARS. LOL! :) It never gets old. But i'd die to be old enough to do Rent in the Community Theatre near my house. But I'm just saying HSM is shit, but I agree with you that it shouldn't ever be compared to Rent.

Wait, forget what I said about the fourth of july. I think that was for the audience's sake for the concert. I'm not sure that part is in the real show. But the rest of what I said was true.

After Without you, it is supposed to be the Fourth of July and Mark gets the call from Alexi Darling offering the contract again. After that, Contact begins, and it jumps again to Halloween... which is apparently shortly after his death.

The first act takes place on Christmas Eve (and bleeds into early christmas morning, I think.) The show only has the second act to get back to Christmas eve.

I love how in this version Wilson hits the high B flat that Justin hits in the newer version, which was not on the original cast album. The shriek of pain is just so amazing. chills.
