  • This was my favourite too , I remember thinking at first it was for a film when I saw it in the cinema because the quality was so good.

It still looks great all these years later.

    Thanks for posting this.

I agree they dont make em like this any more - the only one thats comes close was the gorilla ad for cadburys, the rest can burn with reality tv in hell ...

  • That happened in my pub just the other week.

  • Oh wow! i remeber this when i was a kid!! i used to get exited when this ad came on.....haaahhha silly really but what a buzzz!!!!!!!!

  • this was 1986 and I lived next door to the band who made the record in Newington Edinburgh...bought the 12" single that had a vibrator on the cover amongst other misc. items....

  • The guy in the middle at 43 seconds is a Scottish actor who went on to star in some American cop dramas etc. He was the mad Irish man in "Braveheart" too, saving Mel Gibson/Willie Wallace in the woods; Oh and I am sure i have seen him at Hampden Park, Glasgow supporting my team Hibernian. Top trivia folks........

  • musics cool

  • @mychalina Watch the uncut 2 minute version of this ad. You'll find it impressive.

  • I have just seen this for the first time, and the second, and the third. It's awesome. Compare this with the crrrrap we get here in North America. But generally speaking the ads in the Europe are so much more entertaining, and intelligent, than the commercials in N.A.

  • This was a great ad - remember it well to this day

  • I bought the CD this track came from on the strength of the advert(Uh Tears Baby). It has been hiding in my collection for over 20yrs now. I am only now starting to appreciate what a fine album this was/is.

  • this was one of the only adverts I actually enjoyed watching.
