@strikerk I agree, the evo announcers are horrible. While I understand they're trying to build excitement, they blatantly pick favorites and dickride like there's no tomorrow. It's funny when they dickride on Justin Wong they always get quiet while he's getting destroyed then it's "VINTAGE JUSTIN RIGHT THERE" as soon as he does the amazingly patented, trademarked, never seen by anyone but justin, low forward into a super. Funny shit.

Announcers need to be pretty goddamn neutral when it comes to these things. When Wong wins he doesn't whip out a goddamn American flag and fucking cry tears of joy and say to the crowd "USA! USA!"
He does it for himself. For his own paycheck and sense of pride. This isn't the goddamn Olympics. It's a free for all tournament, best man wins.
For an announcer to show bias on an open tournament to one particular individual, it's fucking ridiculous. Especially in a video game like SF.
