Master of Brutality '01

1.Killifornia (Ed Kemper)
2.Ripping into Pieces (Peter Sutcliffe)
3.Megalomania (Herbert Mullin)
4.Green River
5.Cities on Flame
6.Master of Brutality (John Wayne Gacy)

My heart is black, and my lips are cold
Cities on flame with rock and roll
Three thousand guitars they seem to cry
My ears will melt, and then my eyes

Oh, let the girl, let that girl, rock and roll
Cities on flame now, with rock and roll

Gardens of nocturne, forbidden delights
Reins of steel, and it's alright
Cities on flame, with rock and roll
Marshal will buoy, but Fender control

Let the girl, let that girl rock and roll
Cities on flame now, with rock and roll

My heart is black, and my lips are cold
Cities on flame with rock and roll
Three thousand guitars they seem to cry
My ears will melt, and then my eyes

Let the girl, let that girl rock and roll
Cities on flame now, with rock and roll

  • @runlevel0 There's some live versions that might change your mind - but this is a great cover.

  • @dannyhood66

I actually find this cover way more powerful than the dull original version. BOC lacks the edge of Church of Misery, it's like comparing Fanta Lemon to Bourbon

  • Church of Misery has some of the greatest classic rock covers than any other metal band out there. They really capture the feel of the original and make it much heavier and doomier.

  • lol. nice.

  • Fuck yeah! They did a good job on this..The other bands doing this blue oyster cult cover, don't really keep the feel of the original..Not like this..
