Briefly, the way to escape religion as a front is to make it a fount. See to it that we pray more than we preach & we will never preach ourselves out. Stay with God in the secret place longer than we are with men in the public place & the fountain of our wisdom will never dry up. Keep our hearts open to the inflowing Spirit & we will not become exhausted by the outflow.....

The title..."The power of simple prayer"; I shudder before I even listened to this clip. What a statement, what an 'off the cuff' comment to under state 'Prayer', as if it were picked up at your local supermarket or you could paid for on line with your credit card!

Prayer among evangelical Christians is always in danger of degenerating into a glorified gold rush. Almost every book on prayer deals with the “get” element mainly.How to get things we want from God occupies most of the space....

I'm Puzzled, You cant solve your own problems without prayer?? How come Atheists solve problems all the time without praying? And when Christians pray for healing from cancer or whatever, why does the cancer not go away?

wow, just spent some time watching Benny Hinn vids, and I must say it's really nice to finally hear some good, honest teaching on a subject that taouches every single one of us
