Meet Lonesome Rhodes: This is a great movie with Andy Griffith. This is a comment from the movie I thought might have meaning to some people. Power in the media....

This is it people. This sums it all up in a nutshell. The elite controlling the masses withouth them knowing they are being controlled. The elite are not republican or democrat they are RICH. Period. They've got this thing down to where people don't even know what they really stand for. Just keep em fighting and distracted while we dictate the outcome.

This is why Olbermann calls Glen Beck "Lonesome Roads Beck."

I'm here because Thelma Lou recommended it. She says that you will see Andy in a way that you never saw him. A great actor, Andy!

the rich have no voice. it's the media that acts as their megaphone.

and anyone who knows history understands that stability is the friend of the wealthy. people fighting just interferes with their ability to make money.

your theory is terrible. try again.

one group of the rich wants lower taxes for themselves. the other wants higher taxes onto themselves. just because you are rich doesn't make you an inherently evil, selfish person

the current crop of Right-Wing "commentators" like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity pale in comparison to the influence of Walter Winchell from the 1930's thru the mid 1950's. politicans and celebrities had a real FEAR of Winchell. back then he could absolutely DESTROY someone with a few disparaging words either in his newspaper column or on the radio.
