Black Beast Of Arrrghhh recorded in performance at Laboratory Music #1 solo minimalist free improvisation festival, Saturday, July 10, 2010, at The Laboratory, 818 W. University Avenue, Gainesville, Florida. Black Beast Of Arrrghhh (Zachary Short of Saint Petersburg, Florida) was one of 31 improvisers in a seven hour program. All improvisers were limited to a nine minute time frame and all improvisers had to play through the same mini-mixer and two 10-watt amplifiers (or acoustically). The Laboratory Music #1 festival was produced by Hal McGee, in association with 355 Noise.
