haha, ima show this to my friend, he has a civic DX (old one). i got 07 cobalt lt stock, he has custom exhaust, stick. i got auto. i love my balt, never gave me problems. just made wierd sort of.

btw I know these videos always go Import vs Domestic, but I've owned both, had more luck with Imports but love my domestics too. I had a LeSabre and it was always a fun time to blow by lower model civics w/ fart cans who couldn't catch up to a granny car :D

thats s civic dx or ex, or the cobalt is modded, cobalt ls gets 0-60 in 8.4, civic si gets 7.2.

still civics will never brake, I bet at the end of the day the guy had to take the cobalt to the shop, cobalts are the most horrible cars ever, thats why Gm went bankrupt no joke.

BS, I was there, it was an Si. I'm a Honda guy, but before that I'm an honest person. I wouldn't lie. My buddy's Cobalt was stock. Only "mod" was the air filter was removed. The Civic kid couldn't drive for shit, and my friend in the Cobalt is an excellent driver, that's why he won with an inferior vehicle.

Still SIs are very good cars, people should have fun driving them by themselves, and not rice them out, I think its a better car overall I might get my hands on one soon.

If you listen to the vid he didn't get a very good start, and he was very slow shifting into 3rd.. and this being only 1/8 mile he had no chance at that point. also I'm pretty sure he didn't have the throttle pegged. Luckily this car wasn't all that riced out, it just had an exhaust and some wheels, no ridiculous body kits or anything of that nature.

@Yaklich right? when i asked my other friend how long does it take to go from 0-60, he said "idk, hours. lol" he used to own a civix lx but wrecked it due to steering failure or something.

@Yaklich Civics are sweet. But cobalts aren't that bad man- I just got an '09. For a base engine it's a damn good one.

@DJOgurchik had nothing to do with cobalt... I just got an '09 and it's an awesome compact. GM got bailed out due to management and perception problems. Cobalt- for what it is- is ok.

@DJOgurchik thats me btw djo yeah that civic driver sucked, and no cobalt didn't have to goto the shop it ran just fine, and there not the most horrible cars ever i can name a bunch that are worse, but its a "quick" car for the money notice i said quick not fast LOL
