I liked the acrylic better, but a lot of guys really swear by them in maple. They are now offered in different woods as well, and they just came out with a new insert called the "hybrid"
So, I would give George a call and talk to him about all the options, see what he has to say and consider that, he is a good honest individual.

Don't know the price, and I buy, sell and trade calls. Calling is the reason I hunt, and is a huge part of my life, so naturally it is where my money goes.

George Lynch will tune it however you like, I told him medium, and yes it is easy blowing, with great control. As you could hear you can get train notes out of this call right off the bat which is impressive. Definitely a call to consider if you're looking for a contest call or a hunting call.
