From their first 1986 demo tape. Baby Radiohead minus Jonny with saxophonist Raz Peterson from the same school. The one that shows all of their harmonising potential and personally my favourite....Sound quality makes it a bit of headphones moment...but what a beautiful moment!!

  • this isnt thom yorke.

  • LOL, You'd know!

  • Is this verified? It could easily be Thom's brother from Unbelievable Truth

  • Absolutely.........My husband was given the tape by the band when he was at school with them. They were all good friends. We used to go and see them play in Oxford at Jerico Tavern and The Old Fire-station.

  • i really enjoy this track and i think it stands on its own

  • Yes it is - we licensed this track direct from Radiohead to accompany their interviews with us about that period in our film Anyone Can Play Guitar. You can find the trailer for it on youtube.

  • I love the opening of this song, wish we could get a good quality recording of it.. love the 80's feel

  • thank god they ditched the sax for a jonny

  • this so Cure-ish. ooooh, the synth...

  • We forget that Pablo Honey came out in 1993 and the boys were 24 years of age. Unlike most bands they were quite old when they started cutting they first recordings. What a band. Would love a couple more like this!!! Legends the greatest band of all time.

  • hah. how would she know? you can slowly tell through the evolution of their on a friday releases and what was going on in music at the time, through interviews with them at different periods and what they've listed through their career as influences

  • ok, that is damn cool. did you have any clue they would turn out like they did today? like genre wise at all?

  • Well it sure isn't crap, I keep coming back to it
