FF7 PC - Custom OpenGL Driver Demonstration

A short demonstration of Aali's OpenGL driver for FF7. Screen resolution is set to 1024*768. Sure, it's slow yet...

Taken from PC version(Official 1.02) with FRAPS.
- All unofficial patches are dropped.
- FF7Music 1.51(http://www.ficedula.co.uk/ )
(BGMs are from PS version and my own 'remastered' version of FF7PC official midi files)

**Note:
1. Current version(0.3b) of this custom driver does not show textured custom model(don't know about that trains in graveyard).
2. For some reason, SFX synch is off in this clip. I haven't noticed it during the game, until I watched this.

**I'm dumb enough to uncheck NVIDIA check box... well, enabling NVIDIA check will make the game faster.

i would really like to learn how to modify games to my liking. Completely remake the game, seeing as square enix wont do it -_- background images, npc's, character models, the whole shebang

qhimm.com forum may help you. Well, you need to backup original data files in case of messing them up badly.

hey i have a problem..i downloaded all this onto my netbook..now everything works fine except the res is too big and im missing most of the screen..in the read me it says to open ff7 opengl onfig and simply re type the desire config in notebook..ive dne that but nothing changed can anyone tell me how i can change the res to fit

@keenmachine80 Yes i did, you gotta use this version of aali custom drive...ff7_opengl-0.7.9b.....­.....i updated my video card driver <<< i believe 90% that was the solution. If you still cant solve it, reply back.

when i try the mod of aali i got this message

"opengl renderer appears to be the microsoft software renderer. your graphics drivers are probably not installed correctly. expect extreme lag"

i put the game in windows mode and is going extremely slow. what can i do to play the game in normal speed?
