  • i love my wheaten!!!! his name is Henry and i was petting him that whole video!!!

  • @msmardo88 :)

  • @typalexandra sorry i never say this comment. Would I recommend you have a wheaten inn an apartment? well in my opinion there are factors. If you take the dog out regularly (3 plus times a day), then it should be not a problem. You must remember wheatens are a very energetic breed, so need a way to release this energy. Murphy wants out the back all the time, as he enjoys the fresh air. To sum up, if you take your wheaten out for a good walk, and dont igonore it, then it should be fine :)

  • Good job on the vid!!

  • @jjhillsborough thanks :)

  • @vraimentjodi I'm sorry, but when i said 'good with kids', i ment that is their instincts. I presumed that the people watching my videos actually knew that for a dog to be good with kids, it must be brought up around them. It's not good with kids. Thats your mistake, not mine. Your the first person that has actually accused them of not being good with kids, so well done. But, I show Murphy with KIDS in the video, and hes fine with them

  • Any time anyone says anything about a dog, it is a "generalization". Most reasonable people would realize that there are exceptions to everything. That said, Wheatens are considered to be very good with kids, especially if they are brought into a house with kids as a puppy. My Wheaten is just fine with kids as long as the kids know how to interact with a dog. Banging a dog on the top of the head is not "petting'. I teach kids how to approach my dog in the correct way, and zero problems.

  • I sat here on one couch and my wheaten terrier, Wrigley lay there sleeping on another and I find this video and I call her name and we watched it together. She stared at the screen in curiosity. I bet she was saying "Hey that dog looks like me." I swear to god these dogs are the best. Just having my dog here watching this with me made me tear up. I love my Wheaten Terrier!

  • I had a wheaten for 9 years. He was my best friend. I've never had a connection with anyone like I had with him, and probably never will again. Human or animal. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with cancer and past last July. He was so strong through it all. He was the absolute best. Great with people of all ages, loving, loyal, obedient, and everyone loved him. I really miss him and his Wheaten Whirls too. He had so much energy and love.

    Rest in Peace Max <3

    Trust me, get a Wheaten!!!!

  • We just had to say good-bye to our 14 year old Wheaten last weekend. We miss him so. I'll never get anything but a Wheaten.

  • Nothing like a wheaten I LOVE MY DOGGY!

  • @catluvr3134ever Wheatens have very low dander and are considered by many as non-shedding; a single coat dog, very soft; I am seriously allergic to common shedding breeds too like Shephards, Beagles, Golden Retrievers, Yellow Labs, etc. I have owned Wheatens (soft-coated Wheaten terriers) for 20 years now; I never wheeze or have trouble breathing. As with any dog, just make sure it doesn't lick her face because saliva from any dog can cause allergic reaction. Good luck!

  • @MurphytheWheaten thanx :)

  • i have a wheaten called Bailey who's 6 and he is literally the favourite in the house
