Sambayanihan-Filipino Ministry of St Mary
(Huntley)
"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.
T'was Grace that taught...
my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear...
the hour I first believed.
When we've been here ten thousand years...
bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise...
then when we've first begun.
AMEN.....
i was one of the people who sang the descant part last year in my chorus. the whole audience was crying at the end.

I remember singing this for a GACS competition in an ensemble of four girls, including myself in eighth grade. I had to sing "Alleluia" solo as the other three had to continue the second verse. It was very beautiful.

My high school choir sang this song at the memorial service for a graduate who had gone on and become a Marine. He died in the line of duty over in Iraq. THanks for posting this song, I've been looking for a version of this song for a while
