Mike Smith was the most underrated singer of the 60's. He could have left and easily started the Mike Smith Five and Dave Clark agreed.

Two years earlier in 1962 Motown's The Contours took their original version to No. 3...

Dave may not have ben the drummer most people would think of but like his style.
