@TardsOfParadise Eating animal products is unhealthy? Then why are human mouths designed to eat meat? Or are you saying that most animal products are prepared in an unhealthy way?

While there is some good information in here, this book/video definitely misses the big picture. If you can't see that eating animal products is pointless and the most unhealthy thing you can eat you are missing the point of healthy eating.

How come I eat 5,000 calories a day, sit on my ass, and never gain a pound? I don't have a 'fast metabolism' because I used to be 100 pounds overweight. That's right, I lost weight by eating more food than ever before.

4. Differentiation between good carbs and bad carbs and learning about good protein and bad protein. Too much to write but it takes research.
5. Drinks - if you're trying to lose weight cut out all soda drinks. That means soda water too. Soda water impedes your body's ability to process the drink. Soda water has an amazingly high sodium content !

From my experience ( I lost 40 lbs in 1 year )
1. Stay away as much as possible from restaurants and processed food. The food in this video is all frozen food....the WORST ! Even the stuff with lower fat, sodium etc is still high compared to cooking it at home.
2. HOME COOKING ! you control the oil that's used etc. the best option.
3. Carbs - for me, i realized I could make the same sandwich with half a slice of bread piling on the protein on half a slice. It's not the same. you get used to it
To lose weight you need to EXERCISE! That's the problem, to many people are LAZY.
