Remembering the lion of Nakefa-Col. kassa Gebremariam

He was one a great heros of our century. His bravery goes beyond words. he was famously known as the lion of Nakefa. 1982 he committed suicide in the mountains of Nakefa to avoid surrendering to enemy. he had a great respect and love among his soldiers. the fallen warriors who never came home to their families and friends. Liberty is a precious gift whose benefits we all enjoy every day, but too often we give little thought to the price paid for it. it will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew you and shared in your struggle to protect our country and the ultimate sacrifice you gave .Your family, friends, loved ones and fellow soldiers will stay in our thoughts and prayers.
