HOW do you get your tank to be so crystal clear!?

make sure the tank is properly cycled and the bio filter is maintained (general left untouched)

also cleaning the glass daily and a bag of purigen in the filter goes a long way.

i have 5 tiger barbs and they school together. they only swim on the bottom. the only time they swim up is for food, and they only really swim up in the corners. they are lively and happy swimming fish tho. is it normal for them to be near the bottom?

i have 7 tiger barbs in my tank and 2 still mess around but i can't tell if they're fighting, playing, or mating.

Hey i just got 6 tigers today in a ten gallon with rocks and one medium fake plant in the back left corner and then a large fake plant in the back right leaving lots of room to swim and some shade and cover as well, the water temprature is 76-78.i left the tank to sit and filter for two days. I put in some water cleaner and bio cleaner packets? I let it sit one day with just water the other with rocks and plants. After i put the fish in They seemed quite happy and content swimming together as a

it just depends on how you go about it, mostly personal preferences. although there are general rules, it can become pretty subjective.

but bigger is usually always better. generally easier to maintain and more room for the fish to swim around.
