Great thanks, but I'm a little confused about the ablative. I don't understand when to use it?

ablative is used with prepositions and in "stage direction" situations. It can tell means, manner, time when, time within which and all sorts of other background information. It is the most useful, but most nebulous, case in Latin and seems to encompass all of the jobs not covered by the rest of the cases.
