I forgot to mention it, but I wanted to say that I didn't purchase any more Crystal equipment for Arc, since I will find more of it in the Sylx Tower.

I doubt it's true that kunoichi had skills "above and beyond" male ninja. So much about ninja is unclear though, and a lot of what we "know" about them is most likely myth.
Kunoichi comes from the stroke order used to write 女 (onna, "woman") - く ("ku" in hiragana), ノ ("no" in katakana), and 一 ("ichi", meaning "one" in kanji).
So it's rather clever Japanese wordplay based on the "hiddenness" of ninja.
We know enough to know that kunoichi were trained just as hard as the males in all roles of the clan, as well as were trained in the arts of the Geisha so they could impersonate them. Even cursory study into what Geisha did is definitely "above and beyond" anything anything expected from a man..
Not withstanding the falsification of records by contemporary historians of the time about Ninja, enough valid information has been brought to light about them.
Many records and accounts of Ninja have been passed down within the Bujinkan Togakure Ryu Ninpo, recognized as the only legitimate surviving Ninja lineage.
There is enough information that is (mostly) publicly available if you know where to look beyond myth; it just isn't something you can Wiki.
