@hfmaelmejor Are you kidding me? The MD-80 is a FANTASTIC aircraft. Nothing can beat those P&W engines.

I remember flying in one of these 737-800 aircraft with no winglets from Cincinatti - San Francisco.

Actually, the things at the ends of some planes' wings sticking up are called winglets. All planes have wing tips, which is just the tip of the wing, but I think you mean winglets.
