Police Helicopter Manhunt in South Austin Texas

Recorded between 3:30 and 4:30 a.m. December 30th, 2007 in my frontyard and through my front window. Eyewitness News Action Reporter GeorgieWise was on the scene (haha).
A low flying helicopter woke me up at 3:30 this morning and when it continued to hover overhead I put on my pants and grabbed my camera. At 1 min and 15 seconds a cop shines his flashlight in my face. I thought I was talking to my neighbor but he said he never came out of the house. Two dogs were growling so I went indoors. Cops with dogs walked past my front window and I was startled. I wish my camera had been on like I thought it was. The search went on for over an hour and then they left. We'll probably never know what or who they were looking for, but the neighbors I have talked to sure are curious.

I hope they found whoever they were looking for. I think I would have grabbed my gun with my camera!! That's to close for comfort.
