  • @AdamantFireheart Good question! You might want to read Dr. Grahams' short book "Grain Damage". I believe the answer lies there :)

  • Ive heard of this Doug Graham guy before. Dude makes sense for sure.

  • So wait you're just supposed to shop in the produce section and eat fruits and vegetables all day? That sounds way too uncomplicated to work. Besides how can he make any money without selling pills, powders and supplements?

  • what about growing children ?

  • @LeppardPrintAnimal Uh, he is trained as an MD, and a nutritionist. He just specialized in chiropractic medicine - that is like saying a podiatrist or a dermatologist isn't a doctor.

And he does look good, he's like 60. How many 60 year olds do you know that look like him!

  • Also, he makes out that he's a medical doctor and he is not, he's a chiropractor.

  • He doesn't look good. He's not a good advert for his diet.

  • @TheCoolVegetarian Thanks i`ll get into that matter, my guts don`t agree with grains very well anyways :D By the way the only "grain" i got no problems with is buckwheat , guess what , it turns out it`s actually a fruit :D

  • @IronCladBen Nice!

  • @elmondark Thats right, when you mix there is a problem, so if you run your body off carbs from sweet fruit, your body doesn't need fat as an energy source, so it looses it. The fat prevents insulin from binding to the insulin receptor, leading to a high blood sugar level and what is eventually known to be diabetes. Fat stores toxins also.

I eat 5kg or more of fruit a day, and heaps of greens and veggies. Heals the body so well and makes you so happy :D

  • @elmondark yeah fruits are fine if i was not: Strength training with weights , doing calisthenics , training martial arts and tricking and also parkour , oh yeah and i finish my workout with high intensity interval training , so yeah if it wasn`t for seeds and nuts and some of the grains i would have probably been dead by now.I`m trying to do only fruits and veggies , but my muscles don`t seem very happy about that.

  • @AdamantFireheart those are crap. we're not made to eat that. we've just eaten it for a very short time period, and it's nothing good about it.

just eat lots of fruits if you wanna be vegan, and stay away from rice, wheat and such ^^
