At a time when the economy is still insecure, why is there an endless debate over capitalism versus socialism and which financial system actually works? A heated debate between Wayne Allyn Root a 2012 Libertarian candidate for president and Michael Prysner a member of the Party for Socialism and Liberation takes place as both present their reason socialism or capitalism is the best choice. Michael Prysner points out that a single president is not the problem, it is the system.

Alright then, would any private company spend tens, hundreds of billions on unprofitable R&D that they can't patent for themselves?

  • Also to add, Prysner is thoroughly good at emoting, which is trait much more indicative of the left.

  • Root was not the most eloquent speaker I have ever seen, but he is correct. Prysner has just reiterated the same anti-capitalist line of how there is some grand conspiracy of banks and politicians working against "The Worker."

The reason why there are these bailouts for these huge financial firms or subsidies for GE to build solar panels or any other state involvement in economics, is that Americans have had for nearly a century, no stringent principles other than pragmatism.

  • Healthcare: Ah, yes, a human right, that only the state can properly manage and parse out with any degree of fairness. Only in a Socialist Utopian's wet dream. The problem with American healthcare (and the true horror stories from many a socialist healthcare system) has nothing to do with the self-regulating and freely contracting nature of the Free Market. A truly robust FM in medicine is not the reality. The state controls all key aspects.

  • The Socialist is speaking of state croynism, not the Free Market. The Socialist candidate for the presidency of France wants to tax at 75% those making 1 million Euros or more. Talk about rewarding hard work and success.

  • Why is that fucker forcing a smiling throughout the whole video?

  • Socialism is forced (by threat of imprisonment). The free market is voluntary LOL

  • This young guy is proof of the old saying that "if you are not a socialist at age 20 you have not heart...if you are not opposed to socialist by the age of 30 you have no brain".
