  • what do you use for whites and lakers on simcoe ??

  • Minnows on a spreader or drop line.

    Williams ice jig ...silver, gold, half and half size 60

    And a local type jig called a Meegs, Simcoe Creeper, Bad Boy ..basically it is a formed lead minnow body with a single hook that comes out of the body laterally to provide the hook facing upwards ,,,,attach a 1-1.5 mini tube to act as the tail ...don't use any live bait on it ...just bounce it off the bottom and jig lightly.

  • The lake holds Lake trout, pike , muskie, walleye, bluegill, crappie, catfish , l/s mouth bass as well although some can be very difficult to locate at time she's a big lake.

  • The lake is located in Southern Ontario about one hour north of Toronto ...just google Lake simcoe and it will give you all you need to know.
