Sen. Debbie Stabenow on Afghanistan

U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Michigan, was in Traverse City Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010. One of her stops was at the Record-Eagle, where she met with the newspaper's editorial board. She responded to questions on a variety of domestic and foreign policy issues, including the U.S. economy, the effort to keep Asian carp out of the Great Lakes and Afghanistan. Stabenow is a member of the Senate energy, finance, budget and agriculture committees.
