Why should people accept the limitations?

As long as people stay fit ,stay active all their lives , along with the advent of new medical technologies, people CAN live their lives to the fullest uninterrupted by "aging".

Accepting it and giving up on living is a bunch of bullshit if you ask me. It's just another damn excuse to be lazy when you're old and lose all your muscles and will.

I have seen many old people live fruitful and fit lives. Just because you're a certain age doesn't mean you are entitled to having a lazy life on the couch or whatnot .

One of the difficulties about aging, is accepting the limitations. As I helped my parent die, they never came to terms with accepting their age and stage in life. There was so much wisdom I could have gleaned. It was too late. Mom would not talk about her limited physical energy. Dad died in LTC. It broke my heart.
