I loved Miriam Makeba in life...I still love her in her death....All the way from Jamaica. She is our roots. IS there anyone from the South African (or generally African) culture who can explain the significance of the breathing? I love to hear when she does it and it has connection in my culture too, which has it's roots in Africa.

I think the French lady is the terrifying Denise Glaser who used to be a kind of anchorwoman for musical news on ORTF during the 60's and 70's
