Man the sound quality is crap compared to back in the day. Your all arguing over nothing! Some times in life there is a spark! The old line up had that spark! Now they have all gone the life has gone outa the band and ironically like axls own song says 'sometimes i feel like i'm beatin a dead horse'. Does he not feel that now? He's floggin a dead horse. All the original guys brought some magic to the table. Thats what created the music/band. That all died long ago.

To be fair he's used them since the early 90s. I don't think I've actually ever seen him stop and look at them but I suppose with the way he moves around onstage he could get distracted so they're handy for a quick glance to remind him where he is in the song.

i think axl is a terrible singer. his voice is so... blegh. i like listening to him on my ipod to hearing him live.

slash did NOT write coma &locomotive by himself. like i said there's not one GNR song slash wrote entirely on his own. all lyrics to locomotive & coma are axl's.
the fact that you call piano parts as elegant as november rain and estranged sucky says a lot about your ability to judge quality music- or i should say the lack thereof.
alan niven, the GNR manager who hates axl admittede clearly that slash needs high quality song-writers like axl and izzy around him otherwise he cant deliver.

Well yeah it IS more of an 'Axl N' Co.' situation now but who cares? The Chinese Democracy album was awesome and alot of the songs on there I prefer to old GnR stuff and I hope to GOD there's another album in the pipeline, hopefully not a 12 year long pipeline mind you but you never know : )
