Actrons- bad response- not well thought through. There is no benefit to running a unix based os, it's just different. Running an app on an htc phone is *not* like a jailbreak. A jailbreak is like a jailbreak- you're changing the core software of the phone to be able to do what you want with it. HTC phone's running WinMo will let you run any app on them that is for WinMo, no jailbreak needed, which is one great plus to WinMo vs. the iPhone.

yes, android is very versatile. i would say neither are necessarily better, it just depends on what you need. WM 6.5 is great for enterprise because it natively supports exchange. there are programs like that on android but theyre 3rd party. android is a great tinkerers phone...it has tons of apps. so if apps and messing with your phone is your thing, android is great.

Personally, I prefer Android, but WinMo has its' advantages, too. iPhones are horrible, infact Apple as a whole phails.

The main benefit of an iPhone is that it is running a unix based os!! Not windows!! Get it. And downloading an Application from some website and installing it on your htc phone is also a modification like jailbreak.

@163mike verizon is saying they will be the 1st to get the iphone IF att dosent try and redo their contract with apple but why even try for the iphone when the android market is overloading with new phones and apps. iPhone < Droids
