Amazing. Thank you for uploading and sharing these. Don was my favorite back in 1976. I looked on Youtube last year and was disappointed. Great to see these now.

Nice to see the video of the Live at Montreaux Recording - one of my favorites. Awesome! Kaplan has as much in the way of chops on slide trombone as Don Ellis does on the MF combination slide/valve Superbone.WHEW!
I have always liked this version of the Ellis Band with the String quartet section, the woodwind quartet and the brass quintet setup - very creative Don Ellis was¿no?

@ndiscala No, not a bootleg. Bootlegs are illegally recorded. This is a legally recorded performance by Swiss Tv. It just hasn''t been officially released (yet) by the copyright holder. Hopefully it will be released someday. Meanwhile it is great to see the majority of the concert here. Many thanks.
