No this guitar has an original floyd, not a licensed one. It's rock solid.

what can you say bout the floyd rose that comes with this guitar? does the strings stay in tune even with excessive trem use?

The floyd is very stable.
It believe it is a floyd rose not a licensed floyd so it is the real deal.
I have had no issues with it.
