This is a very helpful series, thank you for posting it. Two weeks ago we lost a cat to squamous cell carcinoma, and for the past three months we've been dealing with mast cell tumors on our yellow lab. The most recent one is grade III. Unfortunately there is still no cure for cancer.

Wish I had seen this a yr ago. My boxer had one of these and the vet said not to worry about it that it was just a cyst and if it got big I could have it removed. Well it did get big and I saw another vet who told me it could kill her if we didn't get it off. We are here tonight recovering from her 5 th op. I hope I've done the right thing as she is in a lot of pain. We wouldn't have been like this if I had had the right advice a yr ago!
