Ok so this is my first blog for Seoul. This video is, as the title states, a dorm tour. I'm studying at the University of Seoul here in South Korea. I am in their summer program taking 2 courses- Intermediate Korean and Korean Economy and Business.

  • Did you actually study there? or were you like most foreign students who don't study abroad but use the time to travel in Korea...?

  • @EdwardTheDuel Yes, I actually studied. Hard to believe for exchange students, I know. Lol, I saw plenty of other exchange students that didn't study. Since my classes all transfered back to my home university as actual class that I needed to graduate I studied quite hard. I took 3 classes: Korean Economy & Business (which I had to write a 20 pg paper for), Intermediate Korean Language, and Exploring Asian Culture. The EAC class included many field trips so I was able to see a lot of Korea.

  • @karinatinblog

Oh wow, did you study a lot like those Koreans who study 24/7?

It sounds pretty fun to study in Yonsei, but is that not the dorm for foreign students?

I thought Korean students aren't allowed to get in there.

Well it DOES seem like you studied a lot.

    Korean Economy sounds pretty hard.

Do you have MSN / Nateon / Skype or something else?

I might study in Yonsei next year, not sure about it though.

Thanks for the information by the way :P

  • @EdwardTheDuel no, it was the summer so i had fun too. a balanced them both well. umm... this is not Yonsei, this is the University of Seoul- different university. My dorm was the same building as those used by the local korean students, but since it was summer session there were not many koreans staying in the dorms.
