In this 2004 ESPN story about Reggie White, the famed NFL football star/preacher, it is revealed what happened in his final years where he turned from preaching traditional Christianity to become a student of Torah and seeker for truth by learning the original language of the scripture....Hebrew. Very moving story.

If you can't preach the Gospel from the Torah (Old Testament), then you don't really know the Gospel! The early church only had the Torah.

Reggie was/is a threat to the established Constantine religion which includes Catholics and protestants. Protestants are nothing more than a protesting catholic; they follow all the laws that the Pope changed and also follow all the Popes holidays. No matter how you feel about his religion switch at the end of his life he still died a good spiritual man that was good with God.  He lived a better life than most of any of you so I would'nt worry about him no matter what kind of Heaven there is in the after life Reggie is there. He's a All American, college & NFL hall of famer, exholder of the most sacks in the league, 98 defense player of the year, an all around beast on the field and a good man. so quit hatin on the him its disrespectful!

@SCORNDOGGMELACH I would not go so far to call call White stupid, I think foolish or deceived would be more appropriate. Studying himself and his people would have been a more useful place for him to start. I imagine that over time Reggie would have eventually noticed that he was going down the wrong path following the Jews . I agree with you that everything is an intepretation.

@MrScottydabody I know he didnt study Talmud either. Thats because he wasnt Jewish and Talmud is in Aramaic. Besides we have seen the disaster and distortion of Talmudic interpretation left in the hands of imbeciles. The world took on this belief that since the book was reserved for Jews alone and it had to be hiding a bunch of evil secrets. All of which have been totally debunked. What can I say. @MrScottydabody Judaism does not encourage gentiles to convert. Infact traditionally Rabbis try to discourage the convert because in the end, the interested party, by pushing on without support will prove himself sincere and serious. THEN he is accepted.
