The full 'New Math' song by Tom Lehrer animated by myself for a school project.

I created it in Flash CS4 and ran it through After Effects to convert it. I'm sorry it's not HD.

Thanks very much for watching, I hope you enjoy it and please do subscribe for more videos like this.

  • I know that you know that the mistake is there, but I feel the urge to point it out to you anyway.

    1:05 *you're

I'm sorry, dude...but this is nerd territory. :P

  • @LilyTheAnnoyance I know, truly shameful isn't it.

  • sorry if it's a silly question, but why do you have to run it through after effects? brilliant video, fantastically animated!

  • @goonerjack Well I had to convert it from .swf and Adobe Media Encoder couldn't cut it so I figured I may as well just put it through After Effects. I'm sure there is an easier way of doing it but I just couldn't be bothered to spend any time googling it ;)

  • I can honestly understand this crap :b

  • If you are listening to this while doing math homework, and suddenly you find yourself writing along with the song... congrats, your at my level of math homework muck-ups.

  • i keep singing this in math

  • @Gyroglle or at least two fingers.

  • A friend of mine, over thirty four and went to public school stated "This isn't new, it's how I do it," when I showed this too her. Another friend, under thirty four and going to public school now states she has never done subtraction this way. Which begs the question, in an age of calculators, what will the next New Math look like? Excellent video.

  • now lets not see the same hands...

  • i like ...leaving 5!
