Clouds came and strong gusts of wind shook loose the cotton laden pods of Ceiba pentandra Kapok tree sending them floating across the air. A single round dark brownish seed can sometime be seen riding the wind. In the video the lady is trying to catch hold of one of them. Note the nearby field was dotted white as if the workers were sowing and planting them intentionally. - Nikon Coolpix P5100 video mode May 30 2009
